3 Key's To Communicating + Analyzing Kids + An sEMG!

sEMG is my favorite scan view to tie together a kid's struggles and subluxation!

So, I wanted to share my 3 favorite keys to help you communicate to parents and look deeper clinically.

1 Energy = afferent signals to the brain → and the Brain responds according to the energy it receives.

Noise in noise = Noise out

It's exactly why hyperactivity, focus, and high emotion are struggles in subluxated kiddos.

2 Subluxation confuses the motor/movement system → this is found in the symmetry and organizational numbers.

This confusing input is the brain trying to make sense, balance, and compensate to try and work around subluxation.

3 The "dips" and " tired " areas within the overall pattern show us chronicity.

When we put this data together with Story and Table Checks, they often show a Primary Subluxation pattern that needs to be cleared first.3 's to communicating and analyzing Kids and an sEMG!

Our Minds Have the Best Hype GameπŸ“’

Good or bad, our minds have the best hype game. They can hype us into moving fast and forward or not doing anything.

We recently got a report of bad weather coming and got messages from the registered attendees for our workshop asking for virtual, so they didn’t have to wait until the next event.

No family is going to go without Hope Dealing on our watch.

We quickly pivoted. We wrote copy for new texts and emails to go out to registrants, connected with them and blasted our whole patient list invites. We created a new registration landing page for sign-ups and set up a Zoom, and within 2 hours, we had already sent three new patients that called in the link to attend.

We now have a phenomenal Virtual Perfect Storm with eager families ready for Hope, Answers, and Help.

Whenever the question pops into your head, can we do______?

Yes, you can. Anything can be done with the right Who’s, excitement, and some good old-fashioned hustle!

The Nastiest + Most Destructive 😑 Component of Subluxation for Kids

When you look deep into what subluxation does to the nervous system, you can organize it into three sequential, detrimental components:

1. Increased Tension (sympathetic fight/flight dominance)
2. Exhaustion (parasympathetic fatigue)
3. Confusion (incoordination)

The longer subluxation is left in a developing child's nervous system, the further down the road it gets... creating the 3rd + worst component of subluxation — confusion and incoordination.

Dr. Stephenson knew that this was indeed the final, negative neurological outcome for subluxation, so "The Chiropractic Textbook " primarily refers to subluxation as incoordination repeatedly.

In this video Dr. Tony breaks down precisely what that confusion and incoordination component does to the health of a developing child and why the 3rd component of the subluxation is the worst component that sets in over time.

How Marketing Actually Works in 2023 πŸ”₯

So often we hear this unicorns and roses message from "established" speakers and teachers within chiropractic about how when you do a great job of getting patient results clinically, you will have this magical "Referral Only" practice… and in turn, never need to market and spend time, money, and energy on things like your website and social media marketing!

But, just because it sounds so wonderful and amazing — doesn't mean it's entirely accurate and telling the whole story.

In this video , I'm breaking down stat-by-stat and step-by-step how PWC generated 700 New Patients in 2022… and how when you know how marketing works in today's world … you know that before giving you a call and coming in, nearly of moms are going to do their homework and research ‍ on you first.

And where do they do that research? Yep, online.

If you have an outdated website and a weak, lame social media game… you may be able to maintain your practice, but actually...

Where does Chiropractic β€˜fit in’ with the other therapies that we are already doing?

If I had a nickel for every time a mom asked me some form of this question at a Day 2 report or table side while adjusting …

We all know the answer! CHIROPRACTIC COMES FIRST!

But most moms and dads don’t.. and as much as we would love to say this, mic drop and walk away - parents love and need explanations!

So, in addition to saying this - I walk through this simple science/development analogy that I wanted to share…

This works great, especially for parents who 1 want to do everything at once or 2 don’t prioritize the adjustment and thus the nervous system over other therapies when they start care!

"My Care is JUST as Important as My Kid's" β™₯ MOM

We 1000% know that moms ARE what makes the world go round. But they often put everyone else's needs above their own. This often looks like prioritizing care for everyone else first or asking to “ just go on Wellness” instead of starting a proper care plan that addresses their needs.

And while we always want to make it as accessible as possible for parents to start care, we also need to maintain the standard of care we provide. They are in our practices for results. Their needs and goals for care are just as important as the ones they have for their kiddos, and those results simply will come with starting at 1 time per week.

Many parents get scanned during our Gift of Health time in December & January. We had three moms who recently got scanned but hadn’t yet fully started their care plans as they were sorting out logistics/finances. When we drew names for our Gift of Health drawing, two of these moms won “Shop Local” prizes to any local businesses...

3 Ways Weak Communication πŸ—£οΈ Will Sabotage Your Clinical Results πŸ™Œ

It's crazy how much poor communication gets in the way of truly experiencing miracles in clinical practice!

Far too many of us spend the majority of time working on the "art" of adjusting but NOT communication... and what too few of us realize is we are sacrificing patient results in the process.

Dr. Tony breaks it down so we can get out of our own way!

3 Ways to Serve Our Perfect Storm Cases With Ease πŸŒͺ

Caring for the toughest Perfect Storm cases are never easy to start out.

The first few weeks of adjusting can be the toughest... what if they don’t calm down? fight the adjustment? go into a room or relax? What if I can’t get the primary? Are the adjustments making changes?

All questions go through our minds as we navigate these kiddos and unlock them during the start of the care plan.

I don’t know who said it first, but I love the quote, “God doesn’t always call the qualified, he qualifies the called.”

So for today's Teaching Tuesday , I wanted to share the 3 steps I use in adjusting and communicating to help in the most difficult adjusting situation.
