Today on the way to school in the truck my daughter cued up one of our favorite songs, “Speak Life” by TobyMac, and like so many songs it took me immediately into our purpose as Pediatric Chiropractors in a major way!

Truth is that our job to “Speak Hope” into our community is not just a fun, rewarding part of our jobs… but it’s actually the absolute most effective first step in branding and marketing ourselves and our practice as well. It’s emotional and perfectly strategic.

There is zero chance that any mom in your community is going to watch a single one of your educational videos or read an educational article about subluxation, neurology , our technique, or anything of the like… if you didn’t FIRST inspire her about what’s actually possible for her child to heal or have an incredible LIFE right from the jump!

So expanding on our Friday Fire quote for today a bit — Speak Life First .

I’d be willing to bet that almost all of us on Peds today would prioritize a tough progress report w/ a dad whose a pediatrician over a Video recording of ourselves…ok that may be too far.

But even if you feel more comfortable in an insta Reel dancing than a live video, here’s the call to action for today…

Do long-form “whiteboard” videos (Facebook lives, Instagram TV, and blogs) because you never know who is watching!

Here’s my “Case Study ” on it!

The goal: 5-6 months back we committed, as an office, to create more educating and entertaining content (edu-taiment) to share our pediatric brand, culture, and excitement! 5 Must Know Tips on Associates and a Kick Ass Group Doc Practice

1 - Don't Wait and Be Late

So many of us wait until we are about 500 miles past the burn out and exhaustion stage, where we're too busy to even see straight... and then 3 years later after that hire our first associate.  

This leads to being so overwhelmed and busy upon hiring, that you have no time and energy to immerse, support, and train the new doctor. They won't work out, you blame them (not you)... and the burn out and frustration cycle continues. 

Don't be cheap. Invest early and often, and your growth will never be slowed or stopped! 

2 - Don't Pay  Poorly 

This is a huge, direct reason why this profession continues to stay smaller than it should. We limit ourselves with poor, awful business decisions. 

There is no greater potential you can invest in than another amazing subluxation slayer to saddle up alongside you and serve! Stop paying them a low salary, giving them a dry spine and screening kit, and sending them to Costco each weekend...

Automation is BS

Here are things we love like nothing else in life: 

  • Free time, family time and vacations with our kids 
  • Date nights and long walks just us 
  • Working on the farm (mowing, caring for the animals, etc.) 
  • Reading a good book in our cozy living room 

So, a few years back when we were moving our practice's branding and marketing message heavily online, we were easily marketed to ourselves. Anything and everyone that promised us "plug and play" and "easily automated" forms of getting our message out to the community, we didn't even think... we just bought and signed up for any and all of it! 

And then, we experienced what we're sure 95% of you have too... NONE of it worked. 

It was BS.  

Every marketing system and software we brought into PWC was either so off brand that we just couldn't possibly release it, OR we had to spend so much time editing and re-doing, that we easily could've saved time and money just doing it ourselves from scratch.
