The 4 things to grow your BRAND to STAND OUT and be wildly different

I want to dive right into some elements that will really move the needle and grow your practice. I’m going to list out four things that will set your brand on fire and position your practice vividly and distinctly different from everybody else. Not just in chiropractic, but in healthcare as well. We're going big with this one! None of this is fluff, this is what we do that works

A few weeks ago I dove deep into this topic inside of the Pediatric Experience membership and we taught on personal and practice branding. We brought on a marketing and branding expert that helped us out, so I'm going to give you the cliff notes and foundation of it here. If you execute these steps and understand this concept, your practice will really catch fire.

The Subluxations That Hold Your Brand Back

First off, let me cover the two subluxations. I really think it's one subluxation that has two parts that hold our profession back from seeing more families.

#1 we just aren't even known to exist.

3 Things About the Vagus Nerve 🧠 Every Kid Chiro Must Know (and Do)

A very awesome thing is happening both in our profession, other related professions, and online — discussion and information about the Vagus Nerve are exploding!

If we play our cards right as neurologically-focused 🧠, subluxation-centered, kid and family-focused chiropractors — this will lead to an absolute “boon” of more impact and practice growth for us!

In order to make sure you do not miss out on this absolute tidal wave 🌊 of potential impact for your community and practice, I strongly suggest you take these 3 Steps to bring more Vagus Nerve action into your plans.

1. Study and learn everything you can about the Vagus Nerve, Vagal Tone, Dysautonomia, etc.

Right out of the gates I want to send you hauling ass down this learning road, but with one important caveat or “warning signs” if you will.

⚠️ Do NOT to get caught up studying it from a medical, pathological, or physiological viewpoint.

Instead, do all you can to learn it in a way that keeps focus of chiropractic philosophy...

The Hierarchy of Health + Healing 🧠

As a profession, we get so frustrated 😠 when parents turn to the pediatrician 👩‍⚕️ and medications 💊 first. But let's be honest, what does the majority of our own profession turn to first when a tough case comes up?

Chiropractic adjustments 🙌 of course is the answer, right? Oh how I wish 😡 😞 .

Just like a pediatrician who continues to throw out antibiotics and steroids for every respiratory infection 🦠  gets under my skin, so does this sad reality our profession faces - when push comes to shove 50% or more of us turn to primitive reflexes and probiotics before principled chiropractic and slaying subluxations.

Not good.

I just finished going through the last 15-20 posts in our Pediatric Chiropractic Today Facebook Group that had a chiropractor looking for help with a case clinically, either a patient or their own child. What I found was that in just over 50% of the responses, our very own profession recommended these docs try something besides dialing in deeper, more specific, a...

We Don't Prevent, We Prepare 💪

Never before have parents been absolutely over and done ✅ with the medical profession, and their focus on fear, treatment, etc.

Whether they've joined 1️⃣ or 100 holistic, crunchy Facebook groups... the gig is up. Parents today know that the traditional medical 👨‍⚕️ approach is crap 💩 .

They are leaving it in droves and looking 👀 for something different.

That's why now today, more than ever, it's absolutely crucial the message you share with your community (marketing 🎙) and patients must clearly provide contrast to the message of medicine 💊 .

Contrast just may be my favorite word. I'm obsessed with it! It allows you to stand out and stay separate and distinct from others, without bashing or talking down about them!

For the last 2️⃣ weeks we had six Perfect Storm 🌪 Intensive patients at our practice, staying for 2️⃣ weeks to get 2️⃣ adjustments per day. These patients especially have literally done it all, tried it all. They've exhausted the medical system of drugs 💊 and surgery...

Output = Input

Not sure if you've noticed this trend, but currently it seems like all yoga 🧘‍♀️ teachers and massage therapists now double down as "life coaches" and counselors. They often do a lot of talking and sharing of various mindsets and principles as they do their thing 😝 .

Often times the message floats right on by for me as I've got plenty of positivity and empowerment floating around in my own crazy brain 🧠 , but this past weekend our rockstar instructor kept talking about the "principle of exchange" and how what you put out into the world 🌎 , and what you put forth in terms of effort... is exactly equal to what you put back in.

Couldn't agree more.

(And real quick, yes as I approach the old 4-0 my friends... I've "exchanged" a lot of my barbell 🏋️‍♂️ time for time on my yoga 🧘‍♂️ mat instead, living that #lululife I guess! 😝 )

Alright, let's bring this to your practice and purpose of serving kids 👶, pregnant 🤰 mamas, and full families!

Output = Input

It's the most certain thing I've ...

Communicating Hope

“When will Kelly start talking?” The question hit me like a ton of bricks. Kelly, now a 6 year old, had been under care for the last year and a half. Mom and dad received her Autism diagnosis at 3, and started searching for anything and everything that could help.

Through a friend's invite they attended the Perfect Storm workshop and started with a 6 month long restoration plan the next week. Much of her sensory, behavior and sleep challenges were incredibly improved and she remained consistent with care continuing to get adjusted at 2x a week…but that final goal on her intake. Speech. And we're still not there. "What do I say? How do I say it?" I thought to myself. What is mom going to accept, how do I encourage, and be realistic?

Kelly’s mom had been to all our workshops, adjustment after adjustment of “table talk” and was as Chiropractic’ally educated as any! She knew that we do not “treat” the symptoms, we help the body adapt…etc. (we all could go on f
