Sometimes we get a little crossed up about the purpose of chiropractic. 🤔

Chiropractic is not about those of us who serve in this profession, and it’s not something we can own.

Chiropractic is about the patients, it’s about the families, and it’s about healing.

Yesterday, I was reading through the goals for the care of a mom who is bringing her son to us from out of state for an intensive. This boy is on the maximum dose of meds he can be and has been told by doctors that there is nothing more they can do. He has hundreds of seizures a day.

Her goal for his care…. More good days 💗

That’s it. She wants more days with him and better days for him.

Gifts 🎁 lose value when held by someone they are not intended for. That’s what chiropractic is. It’s a gift meant for giving. Not for owning. Not for holding. Not for making it about us.

It’s about every parent and every child being able to have more and better days than the ones they have.
